What is a 'Pawtrait'?

A portrait of you, your family, friends, or colleagues, but with more paws, claws, or jaws!

This is a customised process that involves discussions about the personalities and passions of each 'sitter'. Using my experience as a children’s book illustrator, I will capture their character in animal form, creating a truly one-of-a-kind portrait.

A personalised ‘Pawtrait’ makes a memorable gift for birthdays, anniversaries, weddings, Christmas, mother's or father’s day etc., or a special keepsake to be cherished for years to come.

Here's how it works:

  1. Initial enquiry: Start by emailing me to discuss your project so I can confirm a price and schedule.

  2. Detailed discussions: Upon receipt of a 20% deposit, we will examine each ‘sitter’, focusing on their personality, hobbies, and appearance. Crucially, we identify the inner animal of each ‘sitter’ at this point.

  3. Sketch Approval: I will provide a preliminary sketch for your review.

  4. Final Artwork: After receiving your approval of the sketch and the remainder 80% fee, I’ll create the final artwork, bringing your unique ‘Pawtrait’ to life.

  5. Delivery: I securely post all prints in recyclable and/or repurposed packaging.

As each project is unique, I will provide a custom quote based on our initial discussions. Below is a price guide for 'Pawtraits' created at 210x210mm size:

  • Single character | from £150

  • Two characters | from £200

  • 3-5 characters | from £250

  • 6+ characters | from £300

You can order additional copies at £15/print for friends or family to enjoy.
